Corporate Social Responsibility

EIS is committed to responding to societal issues with an impactful response.

A message from our CEO:

If asked 30 different people to define corporate social responsibility, I am positive I would receive 30 different definitions. Although corporate social responsibility is far from an easy business concept to execute successfully, Elkay Interior Systems (EIS) has prided itself on the motto of "Simplifying the complicated" since 1979. Because we apply this concept in every area of the business, we look to simplify doing the right things and investing in "good." We are in the business of designing and building sustainable environments for the future.

EIS is proud to dedicate resources committed to developing a formal approach to implementing and measuring our global environmental and social impacts.

We are thinkers, designers, artists & builders crafting extraordinary environments. We are committed to firmly anchoring sustainability and corporate responsibility into our culture.

I look forward to seeing the creativity and initiative our teams bring to bear in identifying and pursuing our corporate responsibility and sustainability targets.

Social Impact

At Elkay Interior Systems (EIS), we are deeply committed to fostering a culture that embodies diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as fundamental components of our core values. Our journey toward refining our DEI strategy is not just an initiative but a vital narrative that shapes the way we operate globally. We believe that embracing diversity enriches our workplace and empowers every individual with equal opportunities to thrive.

To drive meaningful change, we have allocated dedicated resources and leadership to initiatives designed to diversify and strengthen our internal workforce. We recognize our responsibility to advance economic opportunity, dismantle systemic barriers, and uplift underserved communities. By aligning our efforts with these principles, we aim to create a lasting impact that goes beyond our organization.

In North America, our Social Impact Council plays a pivotal role in this mission. The council is tasked with fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees, providing training to leaders to address and eliminate unconscious bias, promoting diverse hiring practices, and supporting career growth for all team members. We are committed to measuring and ensuring equity within our culture, as we believe that a diverse workforce drives innovation and reflects the rich tapestry of the communities we serve.

Together, we are not only shaping a more inclusive EIS but also contributing to a broader movement that champions social impact and equity on a global scale. Our commitment to DEI is integral to our success and to the positive change we aspire to create in the world.
